All finalists get to bring a “plus one” with them on their all-expense paid trip to the Thoroughbred capital of the world in Lexington. Flights, hotels, transportation and meals are all included!
Tour and stallion show at a major Kentucky farm!
The beautiful horse farms in and around Lexington graciously open their doors for TIEA. Each year, we are able to take finalists and their friends and family to tour one of these amazing facilities and also see some of the nation’s top stallions.
Awards ceremony dinner at Keeneland!
The awards ceremony will be held in the Keeneland Entertainment Center in October of this year. This hour-long program is where all the finalists are recognized for their outstanding achievements. You’ll also share the stage with one of the industry’s luminaries. Past presenters have included Steve Asmussen, Bill Mott, and D. Wayne Lukas.
Afternoon of racing at Keeneland!
The day after the ceremony, there’s an afternoon of racing at the picturesque Keeneland racetrack. TVG, one of our media partners, makes it a point to interview the winners during their live coverage of the races.
